STUDIO PHILOSOPHY

Embrace what makes you unique.

Candiotti Flute Studio values students' happiness and life balance. Through musical challenges, students learn how to play the flute while also building discipline, self-awareness, and confidence.

At CFS, students are part of a community. By participating in CFS ensembles, CFS Flute Choir and Flute Choir Camp, young flutists have the opportunity to bond with their peers while exploring other instruments of the flute family (piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute). At bi-annual studio recitals, students have the chance to showcase what they've learned and cheer each other on!

Flutists at CFS are active in the local music community. They regularly perform in the Carmel Bach Festival Young Artists' Showcase, CCS Honor Bands, All-State Honor Bands, Youth Music Monterey County orchestras, CFS studio recitals, and more.

Candiotti Flute Studio specializes in students aged 7-25, but all ages and levels are welcome. If you want to learn the flute, you're welcome here!

TESTIMONIALS

“I appreciate Jennifer’s enthusiasm, cheering my daughter on with her calm, patient, clear directions.”

Kimberly, flute studio parent

"My 12 year old son took lessons from Jennifer for 8 months and still would be if she had not moved from our state. When he started with her playing an instrument and flute were new to him. Jennifer methodically introduced music theory and flute basics to him. Each lesson would build upon the previous, refining his technique and adding to his skills. She patiently would redirect and encourage him when his anxiety would interfere with his learning. Jennifer also kindly went out of her way to provide modified sheet music to meet my son's medical visual challenges. She is greatly missed in my son's life and we feel very fortunate to have had her as his teacher."

 Adrienne, flute studio parent

“I got to see Sophia‘s performance yesterday via video. Wow, it was wonderful! Thank you so much, Jennifer, for helping her to become an accomplished flutist!”

Sherry, flute studio grandmother

“Thank you so much, Jennifer! We appreciate the places she’s able to take him and the patience she exhibits with him during every lesson. She is a gem and we are very thankful for her!”
